My tCheck device is reporting an error code 128 and cannot proceed.
Error code 128 is a power-on self-test (POST) failure that says the internal light sources are not strong enough. There are several potential causes for this. Please try the following:
- Replace with fresh/brand new premium batteries. We recommend Energizer Max.
- Ensure the tray is not inside the device when it is powered up.
- Nothing has spilled inside the device/tray slot.
If Error Code 128 persists, please contact Customer Support and provide your order number.
