PRODUCT/SPECS - Device limitations and use

Here is information about the tCheck device.

Question:  How many tests can I use with the device?

Answer:  With proper care and use you should be able to use the device for more than 1,000+ tests. 

Question:  Is it unlimited or do I have to buy a new one every time?

Answer:  There is a limit, but we don't know what it is yet because we haven't reached it.  There is no limit to the number of tests you can run daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly.  We have many devices in the field that have been used for more than 1,000 tests.

Question:  Is there a per-use fee?

Answer:  No.  There are no additional fees per test or use.  There are additional costs for consumable items contained in the expansion kit.  If you need more of those items check out our Accessories page for the Expansion Kit Refill Set or the Syringe and Filters Refill Set.

Question:  Does your device use a database to check against known strains?

Answer:  No.  Our device does not use a database to compare your strain to known strains.  It uses a spectrometer.
